James Hubbell House

My lovely wife knows me best and being that we aren’t much for birthday presents she took it upon herself to plan a day with me to see the wonderful world of James Hubbell. Located about 90 mins from San Diego, nestled in the hills of Julian/Santa Isabella sits a crafted wonder. James, his wife and small family moved onto the property in the late 50’s and has spent the last 60 years making it a true masterpiece. The couple, now in there 90’s, just moved out and into assisted living but do go back weekly from what i’m told.
